Dogs are our link to paradise. They do not know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring–it was peace. –Milan Kundera

Ahh, I love autumn in the midwest. Trees changing colors, blue skies with puffy white clouds, football everywhere, 92 degrees outside—wait…92 degrees?

Yes. We have had high 80s, low 90s here for over a week. Oh, and on top of that? My A/C decided to choke and die on this, the (most likely) last hot week of the year.

So a week after the A/C died, we’ll get a new system installed, and I am going to set the temp on 60 degrees just because I can.

Oh, and the weather forecast for the day AFTER our new A/C is installed?

72 for a high.

Yep. I love autumn in the midwest.
